It’s Christmas. It’s LA and it’s gonna be 85° today. Opened at 8:30 so I could get all the “Are you open?” calls, first peeps in the door at 9:05. Will be here till at least 4pm.

I had a glorious day off, low temperature notwithstanding.
We had an ok day, less than last year due to the weather. With one exception, every single bottle of wine I sold was bubbly. Lots of Bourbon too for some reason…
We were open yesterday until 3:00, it wasn’t a huge day but after Tuesday we needed the day to restock and get ready for pre NY shoppers.
