Opinions on this distributor?
I’ve done business with them for many years but on a pretty small scale - my shop is primarily California wine and their book is mainly Europe with a lot of great producers from the Rhone and Spain. We had a great sales rep for the last few years but unfortunately he left the company a few weeks ago. PM me if you’d like his name and contact info - he might be able to provide some insight.
Pretty new to me as well, I think you’ll find plenty of positive opinions on Sojourn around here (usually Craig their proprietor/owner as well).
Given that we only handle, Oregon, WA and Cali wines I can’t speak much to their international portfolio.
Good company - nice people - I used to deal with them in Southern California - they do have a superb import book - and an interesting domestic catalog - only negative is that they do go through sales staff - but that’s a problem with many small importers/wholesalers -
