Interesting demographics

We are in the middle of a fairly upscale Groupon offering for our wine bar (minimum spend is $39) and so far, with just under 200 units sold, the breakdown is 78% female and 49% under 35. Looks like it’s gonna be ladies night for a while…

Deal sites seem to be female dominated. Not sure if that’s due to the offers (when I got Groupon emails a lot of spa and similar ads showed up), or if the offers are due to the email base (lots of women signup so they do offers they feel will appeal to women).
