    Very sweet and unctuous, almost cloying at times. Lots of dried fruits, honey, a little citrus. I didn’t pick up my of the acidity that others have reported, and that’s what holds this wine back from being a much better wine. I’m comparing it to the same wine from 1998, which has much more balance. Still very good. (92 pts.)
