Like Bordeaux futures, are there retailers that have Italian wine futures? Looking to put away some 2015 Barolo/Barbaresco and Brunello when they get released.
Wines are sold through retailers ahead of delivery but I wouldn’t call it futures, at least in comparison to Bordeaux. For example, some of the 2013s are now available as futures but the wines will be available in the Fall in most cases.

Definitely no futures culture like there is with Bordeaux. Pre-order is probably a better word, and depends case by case.
The only Italian wine I pay attention to for pre order is Produttori del Barbaresco Riservas.
