    After a recent, and rather odd experience with the 07 Huet CdB Sec, this was a brilliant return to why I love these wines. A bit funky on the nose, I could really get that wet wool thing, it settled down though as the wine breathed and got some air. Speaking of which, I think decanting would have really benefited - anyway, laser like precision of lemon and stone, acidity working beautifully off the volume / body I associate with Chenin. Grew more and more complex with air and as it warmed in the glass, again, I’d give this some air next time. One bottle left, and its going to be a chore to keep my mits off it. Simply awesome Vouvray Sec. (94 pts.)
