    Served to me blind. I thought it was a 2007 Barolo, perhaps from Serralunga. A bouquet of black truffles, tar, black cherries, espresso, minerals and a mushroomy, sottobosco element. In the mouth, drinking a little more primary than the nose suggested. A quality Nebbiolo, a little closed, very structured and intense. Dark fruited and mineral, some iron at its core. It needs 7-10 years to be at its best. A top quality Nebbiolo, over delivers on its pricing. (94 pts.)
