TN: 1985 Château La Lagune (France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Haut-Médoc)

Dusty nose of shoe leather, sandalwood and dried rose petal.

Quite thick on the palate with fairly rich blackcurrant fruit finishing with firm slightly drying tannin. It has quite a rustic character and is a touch volatile on the finish. This has certainly retained quite a bit of power but lacks some depth on the palate. (89 pts.)

So should we assume the Lichine is chopped liver?

That was he stock CT photo.

I adore aged Bordeaux, wife does not, so whenever she is traveling on business I usually pop some (hence he couple of notes this week).
