My syrah purchases are heavily weighted to vineyards in the Rocks with only an occasional Ojai or Tensley to mix things up (I do purchase Bedrock’s Hudson every year though). I noticed that Baron also thinks highly of the Grenache produced from the area - I will have to try a few. Cheers!
I still find too much strawberry candy in most of the grenache. I prefer a more savory peppery interpretation.
