    There’s a lot going on here. You get some chamomile, biscuit, tart red fruits and mineral. It is full and rich with a drizzle of honey and gentle nuttiness. Flavours envelop the mouth and there’s some cream and a line of green apple acidity.

I opened the non-vintage Egly-Ouriet Brut Tradition a couple of days ago, and was extremely impressed. I am typically buying Champagne in the $40-$100 range, and this one stood out.
