Seems 50% off from Vidon website.

I was considering this for family dinners where people are drinking up the wine, but paying little attention. I’m put off, though, by the 15% ABV.
Cellartracker notes indicate that the heat is evident. It is probably a tasty wine for the majority of new world drinkers.

Was concerned about the 15% ABV also.

Just popped a 2012 because I snagged some last time around and was thinking about re-buying. I generally enjoy Vidons wines, the 2011 is 13.9 abv by comparison. The 2012 is as you would expect a bit of a mess. It initially strikes you as a heavy Cali Pinot but without the baking spice, or candied fruit notes. It’s just kind of blah. I will re visit tomorrow. I’m not sure why the high abv this vintage, was it really that warm of a vintage? Anyways most of their wines are more representative of Oregon terroir. I know they are taking part in a Berserker a Day so don’t let this scare you off of any future offers.
