TN: Boulay Sancerre Monts Damnes

Clear bright platinum-yellow color with tinges of green.

The aromas are complex, a blend of ripe melon, wet chalk minerality, lime blossom, spring grass, and lemon.

Good weight and viscosity on the palate, with a bit of fresh mint appearing too. A nice blend of high acidity and medium plus alcohol, good weight. That being said the flavors are somewhat muted, with impressions of minerality and lime being most prominent. This wine could be a dumb phase, not as dazzling as I might expect from this nice Boulay Sancerres, or perhaps a function of the vintage.

Would score presently 89.

What year or am I missing something?

Yikes! 2013

Yeah, I had the same question Scott did  .

FWIW, I just looked through my notes on CT, and I seem “less enthusiastic” about this particular vintage than I do for the '11, '12 or '14, so maybe it is the vintage.
