Ecard Savigny Les Jarrons 1999

At the very beginning of maturity. Still a little spiky but it did settle down quite nicely in the glass. Cherries, all spice, and smoke. A tad rustic, and it will always be, but it is delicious now, but better to hold for another five years. 91

Very nice, Mark.
I think we’ve traded comments on Ecard over the years, I’m a fan of these wines.
The mid and late 90s Jarrons and Narbantons have been good to me over the past few tears.
Good, solid Burgundies that don’t break the bank.
Cheers.

Thx for the data point. I have one of these coming from HDH when the shipping window opens up. Was planning on opening relatively soon, but looks like I may wait a bit based on this note (or not).

With just one bottle, I would wait.
