How much will you pay for a 65 point wine?
I probably can’t get it shipped to Washington anyway.

"Private Client Price: $69
16-Pack Price: $828
(US Avg. $148!!)

Outstanding & unheard of pricing for one of the hottest names in Brunello!

65 Points Wine Spectator:
“…complex aromas of blackberry and cherry, with a hint of licorice. Full-bodied, with silky tannins and a delicious finish of wonderful yet subtle fruit. Well-integrated and beautiful. Everything is in the right place.”

Delish!

Now if 6 turned out to be 9, I don’t mind.

I’m picturing a NY hipster somm attempting to be anti Parker by only buying wines a certain ways away from 100pts…

Looks like a typo on the 65. Acknowledging of course that points/descriptions is not an exact science… I don’t see how a wine scoring a 65 would have such a nice description.

Yeah it’s definitely a 95 or something close to that

Aren’t all Brunellos?

2004 Valdicava Brunello di Montalcino

It’s a Suckling review, so you know it ain’t 65!
