Decanted for a couple hours before putting back in bottle to bring to dinner.
Deep dark purple- expressive nose of black fruit, grilled meat. Blackberry, spice, white pepper on palate. Full bodied and concentrated- this is a Saxum!! Nice acidity and great finish. Didn’t notice any heat,despite the 15.8 abv.
Will try again in a year or two. Nice now with a long decant.
