Wine closet and UV/visible light

I’m building a new house with plans for an ~ 800 bottle wine closet on the main floor. I am planning for a glass door and glass panel but have some concerns re UV and visible light exposure. I’m planning on having glass which filters >95% UV light and could tint this as well. Any thoughts as to whether this is sufficient UV and visible light protection for an area which will only get indirect light?

I can’t see that as being a major issue. Tons of wineries have a very similar set up and with the glass filtering 95% of UV light I would think you would be fine.

Note that your cooling system will have to work somewhat harder because glass panels, even multi-pane, aren’t very good insulators. That, plus the fact that your cellar will be on the main floor so already might have to work harder (depending on your climate, I guess).
