Nice complex nose. Bright red cherry, Beaune like, with some melon rind, cranberry, and spice. Very interesting and complex. Not a Nuits nose except for the spice. Nice bright fruit on the palate, some tannins still hit you. Really nice fruit and spice flavors. A long fruit finish with a nice freshness from the melon rind note. This is interesting, obviously Burgundy, but with a bit of different mix of aromatics and flavours. Not Nuits, and not Beaune, something among those and the Cote Chalonnais. It has it’s own nuances.
