2010 Loring Wine Company Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands - USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Lucia Highlands (5/22/2015)
A bit disjointed at first but opened up nicely. Even better day 2. Big nose of blackberry syrup. In the mouth; big fruit, but more red than the nose would imply. OceanSpray CranCherry would be the best descriptor of the fruit. Lovely herbacious finish brings you back for more. Nice wine. Pair with teriyaki flank steak, burgers, pork. Good to very good.
