After 90 minute decant, this was still pretty ungiving. Some tar, some tobacco, but you could not call this generous. Still some tannin, just enough to provide good grip. Maybe I will give the bottle more air next time.
I had a somewhat similar experience with the 98 Asili last month. I felt that it needed time, and not just air.
