    I think this is my first Failla? Started out with the slightest of tingle…a little air rounds it out. Cool climate for sure….ripe and pure pitted fruits…creamy yet cut with nice lemon and green apple skin acidity. Reminds one of Burgundy…maybe a riper vintage Chassagne Monty……really wonderful dried honey, peach blossom florals, limestone chalk, brioche, little smoked vanilla bean…….plenty of mineral crunch and citrus cut, yet Cali sunshine. Nice stuff here…won’t be my last Failla! (91 pts.)

Sipping on the 13’ Keefer, delicious wine. Ehren makes great wine, they just needs at least a year in bottle to show well. If you get a chance try his Syrah’s, really great, he trained for years in the Northern Rhone.
