Did anybody get the Wine Library email about this? It looks like Gary V. is setting up a site to compete with WTSO! They will sell a different wine every day..... sound familiar. It goes live on October 6th. Hmmmm. ![berserker [berserker.gif]](./images/smilies/berserker.gif)

The midnight thing makes it useless for me. I'll be in bed when the email comes out. People on the west coast will get it at 9:00. If the deal is that good, the wine will be gone by the time I see it in the morning.

Want me to just buy a couple bottles each evening for you, Bruce? ![wink [wink.gif]](./images/smilies/wink.gif)

My wife likes to go to bed early. I don't even get to stay up for Leno, let alone Conan.

I took the bait. The last bottle of Argiano I bought was $88!!
Even a light vintage with a 90 rating is worth twenty bucks!
I like it so far.

Great price on a very over priced wine.
Ian,
Have you tasted 2003 Solengo?
I lost a lot respect for Argiano when they bottled the AWFUL 2002 Solengo.

I did, and I think it's typical of the house, and vintage for that matter. Big a** wine for sure, not for the faint of heart.

As with WTSO, we never know how much "SOLD OUT" means that they sold. However, I am sure it was a decent quantity, unlike WTSO.

Wow, killer price on that Barolo. I can only hope for my wallet's sake that this isn't becoming Cinderella Vino Italiano... Out of curiosity, I assume these products are distributor closeout items? Not a negative in any way, just wondering ![tease [tease.gif]](./images/smilies/tease.gif)
