This was the first time I have had a red from Stony Hill. Count me impressed. It was just beautiful. It started out a bit closed and just opened up over the course of the meal. Very well balanced, I think this has a long life ahead of it. Although it had what I will call California fruit, I think a lot of people would mistake this blind for a Bordeaux
Howard. Love their red wines also. Do you happen to have any more of the '07, or the '08 for that matter lying around?
I have one more 2007 but that is it. Likely will try to buy recent vintages as I liked this. What are your experiences - what vintages have you had and how do they compare?
