Very ripe. almost thick, but also very pure, balanced, and with precision. A fine example of what a top producer can do in an excellent vintage with unclassified grapes. This is a domaine wine, so likely from a fairly small parcel, unlike a negociant Bourgogne which would likely be a large production wine from many diverse sources.

Roulot’s Bougogne Blanc would also put many village and premier cru wines to shame.
Their Bourgogne is very good and nice to see it showing well Paul.
When they are on the 02’s are delicious but premox makes it a bit of a crapshoot. Over the past couple of weeks I had a delicious 02 Domaine Leflaive Puligny yet the 02 ‘Pucelles’ was far too advanced.
