2006 Remi Jobard Meursault Genevrieres

An extraordinary bottle of white Burgundy. I didn’t know the 2006’s could be this good. Grand Cru quality with terrific concentration, depth, complexity, and length on the finish. Vanilla and lemon wafer, honeydew, toasted hazelnuts and limestone. Very Meursault. What really sets this wine apart though is the unctuous, oily texture with the perfectly balanced acidity, cut, and minerality that leave no trace of heaviness. In fact everything is so harmonious and balanced that sip after sip brings joy after joy. Both intellectually stimulating as well as hedonistic this wine goes from strength to strength. 95+, a score I don’t use that often. Cheers,
Mitch

Ok, how do I get the photo to rotate?

go to settings to lock phone so image won’t move. Then flip phone upside down. Image will be correct, but tasting note will be upside down, but who reads those? Oh, post in Wine Talk!
