Ingredients

750g Datterini tomatoes from Sicily

1/2 red onion

basil

2 tbsp red wine vinegar or aceto balsamico

6 tbsp olive oil

2 toasted ciabatta buns or foccaia or white bread (1-2 days old)

optional: additional add anchovy or capers or olives

 

Preparation

1.Halve the tomatoes and put in a bowl

 

2. Add sliced red onion

 

3. Add vinegar and olive oil. Put clingfilm on top and put in the fridge for 2h

 

4. Add basil

 

5. Add toasted or pan roasted ciabatta in big chunks and combine everything.
